In the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the Data Controller, and the aim of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Policy”) is to provide insight into our procedures concerning the collection and processing of personal data and to state the terms of use of our website.

2.2. Job vacancy

We process the personal data of candidates who apply for our job vacancy and store this information until the final completion of the job vacancy.

After the completion of the job vacancy, we store the personal data of the selected candidates with whom we enter into an employment contract and the data of the candidates who have given their consent for their data to be kept in the databases for up to 2 (two) years after applying for the vacancy.

Only authorised persons, bound by a confidentiality agreement, have access to the personal data of the candidates, and they process and analyse job applications for the purpose of contacting the candidate and possible employment.

2.3. Social media

We have access to personal information of our contacts that are posted on social media, such as their name and surname, company, likes, comments, connection requests, messages, and memberships in certain groups.

We use social media to answer possible inquiries from related parties and to inform the users of a certain social media platform about news related to our work.

2.4. Business cooperation

If you are our business partner or you are in some other contractual relationship with us, we process your personal data that are necessary for the purpose of concluding, implementing and performing our contractual obligations. 

In most cases, we cooperate with business entities and processes personal data of natural persons only to a small extent. This may include personal data such as the person’s name and surname, address, PIN and contact information. Providing your personal data in this case is a necessary requirement for establishing a contractual relationship. We store the data for the entire term of our cooperation as well as after its termination in the period required by our legal obligations.

We store the data and destroy the documentation in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. 

During the course of a business relationship with its business partners, we may get an insight into certain situations or find out confidential information. We shall not, without the explicit consent of the Client, share this information with any third parties, except for the team members working on projects for the Client because this information was meant to be disclosed to them, that is, they must be aware of this information for the proper provision of services. We shall also take the necessary precautions in order to preserve the confidentiality of this information.

Furthermore, we shall not put the Client as a reference without the Client’s explicit prior written consent. 

3. Type of personal data we process

We collect and process personal data about you (for example, information that can directly or indirectly lead to your identification, especially using identifiers such as your name, surname, academic title, professional title, PIN, date of birth, address, telephone, e-mail, IP address (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Data"), in the following cases:

  • when you are our business partner;
  • when you contact us via our contact form or e-mail;
  • when you ask us to send you an offer in relation to our services;
  • when we process data in accordance with our legal obligations; 
  • when we process your job application;
  • when you visit our website and use certain its functionalities. We shall not collect any of your Personal Data if you do not provide it to us voluntarily, except for certain Personal Data collected through information systems and programmes used for the operation our website, the transfer of which is necessary for the use of internet communication protocols and we shall not require you to provide more information than necessary for the performance of a certain activity. If you do not want to provide any Personal Data to our company (other than the Personal Data related to the use of internet communication protocols that are usually collected when you visit a certain website), you will still be able to access our website, but you will not be able to use the contact form, send us a job application or contact us in any other way.

4. Purposes, legal basis and possible consequences of non-provision of personal data

When you provide us with your Personal Data, we shall restrict the processing of Personal Data to strictly match the purpose for which it was collected, in accordance with the terms of this Policy. The processing of your Personal Data includes the following:

  • taking certain steps pursuant to your request prior to entering into an agreement (for example: replying to questions and comments, fulfilling requests, sending offers, receiving offers, communicating with you (our clients), processing open applications or standard job applications);
  • performance of the contract in which you are one of the contracting parties (for example: provision of services, provision of access to certain areas and features on the website);

5. Who can receive your data

Your Personal Data may be disclosed, in close connection with the above-mentioned purposes, to the following subjects:

  • entities responsible for sending mail and e-mails, removing duplicate information from the list of service recipients, analysing data and providing support, providing customer services, and entities who typically process Personal Data on our behalf as processors, such as cloud service providers;
  • entities responsible for the maintenance of our information systems;
  • entities responsible for the provision of accounting services, which are subject to an appropriate contractual obligation of confidentiality;
  • persons responsible for the processing of Personal Data, who were authorised by us and who are subject to an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality (our employees);
  • our associates, who are subject to an appropriate contractual obligation of confidentiality;
  • relevant services and public authorities when required by applicable law or in good faith (for example, in order to comply with certain legal provisions or during legal proceedings, in order to protect and defend our rights or property or, in urgent circumstances, in order to protect the personal safety of our clients or the public);
  • business partners for their needs, only in accordance with the relevant legal bases.

6. Transfers of personal data to third countries

We do not transfer Personal Data to third countries. 

7. For how long we keep your data

We shall process your Personal Data only for the period of time necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy or permitted in accordance with the applicable laws.

In accordance with and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you have the right to request the following from our company: access to your Personal Data, transfer of your personal data and rectification or erasure of Personal Data or restriction of processing in connection with your Personal Data.

You can also object to any processing activities and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority (in Croatia: The Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency). You also have the right to know the identity of the Data Recipients or categories of Data Recipients to whom your Personal Data has been disclosed or shall be disclosed in the future.

We reserve the right to change or update this Policy at any given time and without prior notice. Please, check periodically for any changes or updates in our Policy, which shall be published here, on our website, and which shall contain the updated effective date on the first page of the Policy in case that any changes or updates are made to it.
